Comprehensive Honors is the highest undergraduate degree offered by the College of Letters & Science. It is available only to L&S students who complete the requirements for both Honors in the Liberal Arts and Honors in the Major.

Students must be degree candidates in the College of Letters & Science, and they must apply and be admitted separately to the Honors in the Liberal Arts and Honors in the Major programs to be eligible for the degree. If completed, the graduate's transcript and diploma will bear the words "with Comprehensive honors," and graduation candidates will wear both the Honors in the Liberal Arts white stole and the Comprehensive Honors medallion at their commencement ceremony.
