On July 17, the 2019 Sophomore Apprentices boarded a bus to Hilltop Farm near Spring Green, WI, for a day of research presentations. With temperatures nearing 100 degrees, it was perfect weather for growing tomatoes but less good for a conference at a site with no air conditioning. The apprentices persevered and gave all the attendees a taste of the research they’ve been doing.
