Undergraduate Initiative Funding proposals for the 2019-2020 academic year are due November 26, 2018.
Undergraduate Initiative Funding (UIF) is a way for you to develop and offer an Honors Only “H” course with funding from the L&S Honors Program (funds may be available for Unrestricted “!” Honors courses in specific cases). The call for proposals goes out to all directors and chairs in the College of Letters & Science early in the fall term and applications are due later in the fall term for the following Academic Year.
Typically awards include either lecturer replacement funds at 33.3% in exchange for a faculty member teaching a 20-25 student small course or $1200 supplies and expense budget in exchange for a faculty member teaching one discussion section attached to a large course.
