Comprehensive Honors Student Lauren Schilling Receives Multiple Prestigious Awards

The Honors Program would like to congratulate Lauren Schilling for her contributions to society and on receiving a number of prestigious awards! In the associated article (attached), please read about Lauren’s pursuit to increase literacy and the recognition of her efforts through the award of the 2020 Beinecke Scholarship, which provides $34,000 for graduate study in the arts, humanities or social sciences. In addition, Lauren has received the Honors Program’s most prestigious award, the Mark Mensink Honors Research Grant. In addition to the Mark Mensink Honors Research Grant, Lauren has also been awarded one of two Cyrena Pondrom Leadership Awards given for the 2020-2021 school year.
