The Program Assistant works individually and as a part of a team to support programmatic and administrative activities of the L&S Honors Program as it serves students in their academic and co-curricular activities. The Program Assistant will support many areas of Honors, including administrative operations, event planning, and providing a student perspective at admissions info sessions. This position will offer students the opportunity to work alongside Honors Staff in a collegial and collaborative environment, allowing students to gain professional administrative experience and meaningfully contribute to the mission of the Honors Program.

The responsibilities will be split between 2 students who will each generally work a regular schedule of two days per week with a minimum of three hours per shift. One student will work remotely for 1 hour on Monday morning to assist with final preparation for our weekly e-newsletter. Shifts will be scheduled based on student’s availability during the general hours of Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. The position is for the full 2025-26 Academic Year, with the ability to extend through summer 2026 and the following year. If available, the candidate could begin work in Summer 2025.
