The Program Assistant works individually and as a part of a team to support programmatic and administrative activities of the L&S Honors Program as it serves students in their academic and co-curricular activities. The Program Assistant will support many areas of Honors, including administrative operations, admissions, grants, advising and event planning. This position will offer students the opportunity to work alongside Honors staff in a collegial and collaborative environment, allowing students to gain professional administrative experience and meaningfully contribute to the mission of the Honors Program.
The responsibilities will be split between two students who will each generally work a regular schedule of two days per week with a minimum of three hours per shift. One student will work remotely for 1 hour on Monday morning to assist with final preparation for our weekly e-newsletter. Shifts will be scheduled based on student’s availability during the general hours of Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. The position is for the full 2024-25 Academic Year, with the ability to extend through summer 2025 and the following year.
