Extend what you are learning beyond the walls of the classroom and, in the process, build a stronger sense of community with peers, faculty, and staff.
HSO creates opportunities to connect through:
- Social and cultural events, such as ice skating, movie nights, and attending UW-Madison Opera productions
- Academic events, such as “Wednesdays at Washburn”, where popular Honors faculty are invited to open Q&A conversations over food
- Volunteering, such as cleaning the Lakeshore Nature Preserve
