The L&S Honors Program mourns the loss of one of its own, former Faculty Director Chuck Snowdon. Professor Snowdon was the faculty director of the L&S Honors Program for five years beginning in 2007. He taught and mentored many, many students in our program over the course of his long career at UW-Madison, and provided the leadership to renovate Washburn Observatory as the home of L&S Honors. He will be sorely missed.
