"Professor Diakonikolas has had a very positive impact on my Honors experience through her mentorship in research. She takes undergraduate research seriously and has been consistently thoughtful, encouraging, and intellectually engaged. She gives guidance that is both supportive and rigorous: she is patient when explaining difficult ideas, while also encouraging me to think more independently and clearly about research problems. Her feedback has helped me grow both technically and intellectually, and she has made my Honors experience much more meaningful.
