Honors Study Abroad Petition Form

This form should be used to petition for a study abroad course to count toward remaining Honors in the Liberal Arts requirements. We encourage you to meet with an Honors advisor before going abroad and if you have any questions about your petition. Please submit this form after the relevant course is completed and has been posted to your UW-Madison record.

- I am currently declared an L&S Honors student and am pursuing Honors in the Liberal Arts.
- I have unmet Honors in the Liberal Arts requirements that this petition would help me meet.
- I am petitioning for a maximum of one Honors course per semester abroad.

- The course has successfully transferred to UW-Madison and carries LAS credit.
- The course was NOT a directed study, graduate course, or thesis course.
- The course was at least 6 weeks long.
- I earned a final grade of B or better in the course.
