The Welton Family Foundation
The Welton Family is the major donor sponsoring the Welton Summer Sophomore Apprenticeship. The Welton Family Foundation provides Honors students with the same type of research experiences that Dr. Welton experienced as an undergraduate at UW-Madison. According to Dr. Welton, the research that he did at UW solidified his interest in research, motivated him to pursue additional studies, and eventually inspired his founding of Welton Investment Corporation. Dr. and Ms. Welton hope that their donation motivates others to give back to the L&S Honors Program in areas that they care about deeply.
