Congratulations to University of Wisconsin-Madison Speech and Debate, who won their first ever Rambler on Saturday, February 27. The winning team of Ria Dhingra and Zach Heintz beat out 35 other teams in UW’s second time competing in the tournament.
Ria Dhingra, the tournament’s top speaker, is a first-year student in the Honors Program and is pursing an English major and Honors in the Liberal Arts. “It’s super exciting! I’m surprised we made it to the finals, let alone won, so it’s nice that our efforts paid off,” Dhingra said.
