Kick off your UW–Madison journey with the L&S Honors Program at our annual welcome! This welcome and academic orientation brings together incoming Honors students for an energizing introduction to the Honors Program. Meet the Honors team, connect with fellow students, and learn about the many opportunities available to you as an Honors student.
Event details:
- Date: Tuesday, September 2, 2025
- Time: Doors open at 9:00 AM. Please be seated before 9:15 AM. Following the Honors event, all students will travel to the terrace at the Memorial Union for the next Convocation Day event with the greater L&S community.
- Location: Room 3650 Humanities Building. There is an entrance directly into the room on the Park Street side of the Humanities Building.
Registration: No registration is required. It is expected that all incoming first-year Honors students attend. The event is not open to continuing Honors students.
