Can you believe it’s almost the end of the semester already? Let’s celebrate a great one with the Honors community! Join us for hot chocolate and treats at Washburn Observatory, followed by a trip to the Bakke for some fun ice skating at the rink. Come to either or both parts of the event!
Rink admission and skate rental will be covered by the L&S Honors program. You should wear tall socks and long sleeves/pants that you are comfortable moving in.
Event Details:
- Wednesday, December 3
- 4:30-6:00pm: Hot Chocolate & Treats at Washburn Observatory
- 6:15-7:30pm: Ice Skating at the Bakke Recreation Center
Between 6:00 and 6:15pm, everyone at Washburn who wants to ice skate will travel to the Bakke together by walking or taking a free campus bus. If only attending the ice skating, meet in the ice rink lobby at 6:15pm. There will be a sign-in sheet at the counter that Honors students will use to have their admission/skate rental covered by the program.
