Mark your calendars for the 2025 Senior Honors Thesis Symposium! At this annual symposium, Honors student researchers present findings from their senior thesis work. The symposium offers senior thesis writers and other students the opportunity to hear and ask questions about undergraduate research from a variety of disciplines. Abstracts will be shared in advance of the event for attendees to review what will be shared!

- Date: Friday, April 11
- Time: 1:00-5:00 PM
- Location: Union South
- A program will be shared closer to the date of the Symposium
Format
- Presenters will be placed into groups based on the abstracts shared.
- Each presenter will individually present their work and then have a chance to respond to a few audience questions.
- More information about presentation logistics (timing, preferred materials, etc., will be shared later)
Eligibility
- Any Honors student completing a senior thesis is eligible to present and/or attend.
Registration
- All interested presenters should complete the Presenter RSVP form by Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11:59 PM. You must be logged into your @wisc.edu email address to complete the form.
Note: Students who received a research grant from the L&S Honors Program supporting their senior thesis work (e.g. Honors Summer Senior Thesis Research Grant, Mark Mensink Honors Research Grant, Barry L. Popkin Senior Thesis Research Award, and/or the Trewartha Senior Honors Thesis Research Award) are required to present. If you are unable to attend and have not already arranged an alternative with the Honors Program, please contact us at honors@honors.ls.wisc.edu.
