Join us for one of the most meaningful events of the year—an evening designed to help first-year Honors students build connections with peers and faculty in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

The event begins at 5:30 PM with a delicious buffet dinner, welcome remarks, and recognition of the 2025-2026 Distinguished Honors Faculty. Throughout the evening, faculty and academic staff will be seated at tables, engaging in conversations on curated topics that reflect their passions and expertise. Following dinner, you’ll have the opportunity to move between tables, ask questions, and gain insights from some of UW’s most inspiring instructors.

Whether you’re looking to explore new academic interests or simply meet others in the Honors community, this event is a perfect way to kick off your year.

• Location: Alumni Lounge at the Pyle Center (702 Langdon Street)
