It’s finally feeling like spring! Looking for a way to get outside, take a study break, connect with fellow Honors students, AND contribute to your campus community all at the same time?
Join Jordan, Pete, and your Honors peers for a trip to Allen Centennial Garden (located on campus) as we volunteer for their spring garden cleanup, followed by some delicious Greenbush donuts on the patio. You can come for the volunteering, just the donuts, or both – but the donuts will taste best after a job well done!
Allen Centennial Garden is located between Washburn Observatory and the Bakke. Cleanup work will include removal of dead leaves/plants, weeding, tidying of garden paths, and refreshing the soil of potted plants. Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Gloves and any other necessary supplies will be provided.
- Tuesday, April 28 from 1-3:00pm
- Meet at Allen Centennial Garden, 620 Babcock Drive on campus
- Come for either or both volunteer hours as you are able
- Enjoy donuts at 3:00pm (or when you need to leave)
