Senior Honors Thesis Symposium 2024

Mark your calendars for the 2024 Senior Honors Thesis Symposium! At this annual symposium, Honors student researchers present findings from their senior thesis work. The symposium offers senior thesis writers and other students the opportunity to hear and ask questions about undergraduate research from a variety of disciplines. Please consider reviewing the abstracts submitted by each of our presenters! Event Details

• 2024 Symposium Program
• Date: Friday, April 19
• Time: 1:00-5:00 PM
• Location: Pyle Center

Format

• Presenters will be placed into panel groups based on the abstracts shared.
• Each presenter will individually present their work for 7-8 minutes and also have a chance to respond to a few audience questions.
• Presenters typically project a PowerPoint or similar media during their presentation, though that is not required.

Eligibility

• Any Honors student completing a senior thesis is eligible to present and/or attend.

Note: Students who received a research grant from the L&S Honors Program supporting their senior thesis work (e.g. Honors Summer Senior Thesis Research Grant, Mark Mensink Honors Research Grant, Barry L. Popkin Senior Thesis Research Award, and/or the Trewartha Senior Honors Thesis Research Award) are required to present.
