The L&S Honors Program and L&S Dean Eric Wilcots will recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of Honors degree candidates on Friday, May 10.
Honors degree candidates receive an event invitation via email and are asked to register for themselves and their guests by April 19. Due to the size of the graduating class and space limitations, we are holding two ceremonies: 2:30pm and 3:45pm.
Each ceremony is expected to last approximately 45 minutes and will include:
- Opening remarks from the L&S Honors Program Director, Jenny Saffran
- Remarks from L&S Dean Eric Wilcots
- Presentation of Dean’s Prize
- Remarks from a selected student speaker
- Presentation of graduates: Graduates will walk individually, state their name, and receive a small gift from the Honors Program
