Wednesday @ Washburn with Professor Barry Burden
Barry Burden
Washburn Observatory (1401 Observatory Drive)
Join us for a casual conversation with Barry C. Burden, Professor of Political Science at UW-Madison, Director of the Elections Research Center, and one of the nation’s leading scholars of elections and voting behavior. With fall elections approaching, this is a great opportunity to learn more about how elections work, the forces shaping American politics, and the latest research on voter participation and representation.
Burden is affiliated with the La Follette School of Public Affairs, the Center for Demography of Health and Aging, the Tommy G. Thompson Center on Public Leadership, and the Election Administration Project.
Come enjoy free pizza and drinks, ask questions, share your perspectives, and engage in an informal discussion with Professor Burden and fellow students at Washburn.
