Pete is a proud alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (M.S., Educational Psychology) and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (B.S., Secondary Education and Broadfield Social Studies), where he graduated summa cum laude. Before joining the Honors staff, Pete had served as a high school Social Studies teacher from Fall 2011 until Spring 2020, including earning Teacher of the Year honors during the 2018-19 school year at Monona Grove High School. Pete enjoys spending time off-campus with his partner, Hannah, their sons, Bobby and Tommy, and their golden retriever, Bernie. In his free time, Pete enjoys all things fitness and appreciates the many bike paths in Madison!
